| Margate is still one of the more popular of Thanet's seaside towns, with its ancient history, cosmopolitan lifestyles and modern architecture it is a good place for investment. The new Turner project when completed will add yet more interest to the town. With it's pedestrians shopping area and easily accessible car parking facilities it is not only attractive to tourists, with its good clean healthy sea air and local businesses a good place to invest. |

Margate's soft sandy beaches, donkey rides, amusements attract visitors from all over the Uk and abroad. In the evening the seafront bustles with night clubs, local restaurants and places of interest. Not far from the main centre are the renown Margate caves situated at the bottom of Northdown Road, the caves depicting drawings by it is believed a local artist. In 1914 a new entrance was cut from the cellar of the vicarage which is the new entrance that is in use today. |
